To be honest, for the sheer comedy value, probably Black Sheep. It's AWESOME. It's a zombie comedy. With zombie sheep that eat people. (It's also the one zombie film I can stand, and I LOVE IT SO MUCH. Anyway...)

So, I figure I'm going to take a crack at this 30-day meme that's floating around out there, and that I spotted on cedarrapidsgirl's LJ. (I'm notoriously bad at these things. I've tried before, and EPICALLY FAILED. But anyhow. NOT THIS TIME. This is my quest for making myself more good at deadlines/dedication/commitment now that universityyyyyyy is coming up. It's taking various forms. They're all very confusing. ANYWAY.)

The 1st movement from Rachmaninov's piano concerto in C minor - *FLAILS* Because I'm a geek, I picked this up from The History Boys, but then I had it on repeat whilst reading House of Leaves, so now I associate it with that crazy mindful of a book. There are a hell of a lot of songs I love, but that's the one that's perpetually top of my iTunes. So yeah. *loves*

Blame comment_fic. They were having a three-sentence day (y'know, where your comment!fic has to be three sentences, no more, no less). Three-sentence fics are addictive. I've been trying for about three weeks now to write the next part to two halves of the one coin, but it's just not coming. I know where it's going, and I know what it's going to say (and there are some heartbreaking conversations mapping their way out in my head for it), but it's just not working.

It's official: I'm addicted.

For my birthday, I was given a shiny bracelet. It's one of those ones where you get a basic plain bracelet, and then you buy beads/whatnot to go on it, and it's awesomely fun and very expensive. Understandably, because I'm a magpie, I spend lots of money on it, because it's awesome and I love it.

However, I just wrote something (the rules of acquisition; title shamelessly ripped from the Ferengi) about a goddamn bracelet.

It's more about the addictiveness and obsession things can bring on in people, but still! Writing! About a bracelet!

Okay - I finally actually made a decision. I know I've been throwing the whole name-change idea around for a while now, but I finally did it.

Anyhow.

On an unrelated note, I'd forgotten how weird Dollhouse can be.

Because I'm lazy, I hadn't watched any of the second season/Epitaph One, so I was catching up on them today because SNOW DAY. Even though it hardly snowed. Hmm. So yeah. Crazy. In an awesome way.

But Whiskey ran away. And Echo is tonto. Idk, I think I prefer the monster(/client)-of-the-week style episodes. I like tight, singular storylines. I always have.

Hmm.

Also? Because I have a load of RL friends on there, I signed up for a DeviantArt account. (I'm still debating as to what the content will be - random photographs, as the fancy takes me, and probably some original fiction experiments which are a bit out there to be posted to a primarily RL-and-fandom journal (i.e. this one), so yeah.) As a consequence, I have a question: do any of you wonderful f!listers have a DA account? If so, I wish to add and peer. :D

Spent most of last night 'tipsy' (read: quite staggeringly drunk - yay, Malibu), and staggering around the best friend's house with another (even more drunk friend), saying to everyone very loudly: "SSSHHH! They're watching a movie!" - and then giggling frantically. And then a drunken call to the boyfriend (who's in Scotland, for some reason) just after midnight.

Oh dear. *facepalm*

Fun, though. And I snaffled what was left of the Malibu. Not very much, admittedly, but still. :D
